The Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC) has taken its fiscal responsibility advocacy to six National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camps across the FCT, Nasarawa, Niger, Benue, Kogi, and Kaduna States, promoting accountability, transparency, and prudent resource management among corps members.
Through a keynote address by Acting Chairman Charles Chukwuemeka Abana, the Commission emphasized that fiscal discipline applies to both public and personal finances and is essential for national development. Corps members were encouraged to act with integrity, advocate responsible financial practices, and participate actively in governance, with reference to their rights under the Fiscal Responsibility Act.
The campaign featured interactive sessions and concluded with a call for corps members to serve as ambassadors of fiscal responsibility, contributing to a more accountable and sustainable Nigeria.
